The school has shown good
academic excellence and I am proud to acknowledge the
outstanding performance of our students at the First
International Mathematics Olympiad which was held on 31st
January 2008. The following students were topper in school :
In Class II, - Vaishali Singh, also
ranked 13th in the city
In Class III, - Yatish Soni, also ranked 47th in the city
In Class IV, - Arpita Nema , also ranked 111th in the city
In Class v, - Bhaskar Nema, also ranked 29th in the city
In Class VI, - Mohit Jain, also ranked 6th in the city.
In the 8th National Cyber Olympiad, which was held on 4th
September 2008, Master Vinamra Jain of Class IV ranked first
in the school and 26th in the city.
In the 11th National Science Olympiad which was held on 20th
November 2008 the following students were topper in school
and qualified for the second phase.

In class VI - Ms. Anushree Kesharwani
In class VII - Master Prathu Singh Chaudhary
In the 2nd International Mathematics Olympiad which was held
on 20th December 2008, a good number of our students have
participated, the results of which are awaited.
Our students gave an excellent
performance at the first year examination of - Yoga O
Sanskrity Kala Kendram - Kolkata conducted by - "All India
Yoga Development Forum and Eastern India Yoga Development
Forum with Ku. Dravi Jain, Ku. Dishu Jain, Ku. Rachna Mishra.
Ku. Shreya Khandelwal, Master Gaurav Soni, Master Om Baderia,
Master Shyamal Ingle and Master Prathu Singh Choudhary all
were awarded with Yogashree in the subject Yogasana and were
placed in first division. On 8th January 2009, Beginers
Rolling Skating Tournament was organised at St. Josephs
Convent Sadar by Target Sports Club where our students gave
a wonderful performance.

In the first Major 27th State Level
Boxing Competition held on 7th January 2009 at Gwalior.
Master Prathu Singh Choudhary was the runner up in the
Sub-Junior (D-6) Kg. Category. Our
students excelled well at Dance Competition conducted by the
Royal India Marble Rocks Jabalpur and Sunehrepal Events
Management under the guidance of Mr. Prakash Sahu.
I am happy to announce that Master Madhav Mishra of Class V
has played 5 State & 2 National Tournament in Chess
competition and one Open National Chess competition, in
which he represented our school and brought laurels. He
started his career at the age of 8 yrs under the coaches Mr.
Manoj Mishra and Mr. Vikas Singhai. He is no doubt "todays
little master tomorrows grand master."
